Race Car Dataloggers
Job, Štefan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This work is focused on race car dataloggers. The goal of this work is put on depicting the dataloggers that are used in the time being and also on the data that are measured as well as the information they provide to the driver or racing engineer. The work itself is divided into four main parts. They deal with the basic terms regarding this topic, the description of the dataloggers and of the companies that specialize in the datalogger production. The conclusion contains general evaluation of this work
Evolution of the Lancia Sport Cars
Čech, Martin ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of Lancia sports and racing cars. The main goal is to clarify design solutins, described them and do an analysis. Alternatively to compare how the competition dealt with the problem. The first part outlines the emergence of car factory and briefly describes the first cars, their design and especially the innovative features. In the second part two successful racing cars from the racing field are decribed and analyzed in detail.
Increasing SI Racing Engine Performance by Turbocharging
Dolák, Jindřich ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Aim of this diploma thesis is the turbocharger design calculation for single cylinder SI engine for Formula Student. This thesis includes a mathematical model of the engine, which is created in the Lotus Engine Simulation. This model applies for tuning the regulation of turbocharger charging pressure. Lotus uses the turbine waste gate valve for this regulation. The results of the simulation are the charging pressure, lengths of the intake manifold and etc. These parameters ensure the optimal engine qualities. The knowlege and results of the simulations are summarized at the conclusion.
Lotus sport cars
Sojka, Michal ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is trying to describe the development of Lotus sports car. The aim of the project is delineate development and construction of sport cars. The first part outlines is about history of the company of Lotus from establishment to today. Followed by second part of work, were are in detail discussed successful cars of Lotus Company, which are divided to the branch of their function - sport cars, Formula 1 cars and racing specials for 500 mil Indianapolis.
